I'm going to dedicate this blog to what Little Ms. C is up to at 17 months old!
She gives out kisses all the time now. She will hug you when you ask for a hug. She gives high fives,blows kisses, plays with play-doh (obsessively), reads book after book and points to different things in the story, can put together shape,number, color, and animal puzzles correctly, runs wild around the house laughing, pets the dogs with love, always wants her shoes on (and if they're not on, she will try to put them on herself), is attempting to eat with fork and spoon, does sign language for "more, thank you, please, done", points to her nose, ears, and belly (and lifts up her shirt to show you her belly), says "mama, dada, ball, no", and LOTS of other jibberish we haven't quite figured out. She attempts to say "dog" and points at the dogs. If you ask the dogs to go "outside", she will run to the back door and wants to go out, too. She still obsessively puts small things in buckets, baskets, or little bags and continuously pulls them out and puts them back in. She loves to sit on the couch, but loves to climb back off the couch even more. Just last night she started dancing on command. We would say "Dance" and she'd stop whatever she was doing and bend at the knees and shake her body or put her arms in the air and move them. Hysterical. She laughs and smiles ALL THE TIME and is an absolute JOY to have in our lives. She continues to be fussy at daycare when i drop her off and pick her up, but it's probably b/c she just loves me so much. Right?

This is when I said, "Dance" and she dropped the ball and threw her hands up to start dancing. She clearly has Mommy's dance moves.
I can NEVER get a picture of her smiling on camera, so I am very proud of this sweet picture!
