Gigi and Papa Came to Alabama!!

My parents drove down for a short visit, but we made the most of the little time that we had. We hadn't seen them in over 2 months. They spent all day with Caroline on Friday while Eric and I worked. They took her to Panera (shocker) and Bass Pro Shops. My mom goes to Panera everyday (i'm not exaggerating).

Saturday we all went to eat breakfast at The Egg and I (it's okay...not too impressed) and went to the Zoo. C had fun looking at animals, but quickly got tired and screamed her head off on the carousel and then quickly fell asleep in the stroller.

They headed back to Illinois this morning. So sad. Caroline had a great time with them (and so did we.) Come back soon!!

They had a mini-drama in my car on the way to Bass Pro Shops. She threw up all over her car seat. So, that explains why she is wearing a green sweatshirt w/o a shirt underneath it!

Such a serious face. But, there were some scary birds right in front of them.

Caroline is a tad obsessed with reading books.

*Caroline put together her very first puzzle today! It was a Melissa and Doug puzzle with colors/shapes on it! It took her about 8 tries before she figured it out. I was impressed!
