4+4+4+1

This is a blog post all about Eric for once! He deserves a huge shout out. He spent 4 years completing a Bachelors Degree in Biology at Drury University in Springfield, MO. The next 4 years were spent at medical school at Saint Louis University. AND the following 4 years we've been in Birmingham where Eric completed an Ophthalmology residency at UAB. That's 12 years post high school. Later this week he will begin a 1 year Glaucoma fellowship here in Birmingham. Whoa! He has a lot of dedication to his profession. I have been here the whole time to see how many hours he has worked at the hospital AND how many hours he was worked at home studying! All this while having two kids during it all!  We love you, Eric!!

Last night the Eye Foundation hosted a very nice graduation celebration. Both of our parents were here to celebrate.
