Trick-or-Treat

It was a nice night for trick-or-treating, but since Caroline didn't entirely understand the whole concept, we thought we could get away with just going to the local library to trick-or-treat. I'm glad we did because it was a great location (quiet!).

our little monkey was so wonderful considering he is strapped to the stroller. He smiled at everyone and enjoyed Halloween.

The Bumblebee is buzzing again. This time she was really excited to put her costume on.

Each circulation desk had a different bucket of candy to hand out. At first Caroline would say "no trick or treat" because of course her favorite word is "no", but she would at least take a piece of candy and say "thank you". Finally by the last 2 stops she would smile and say "trick or treat".

Have I mentioned we are in the "Trying Twos"? I don't want to call them Terrible Twos, because she is still a sweet and precious little 2 yr old, she just uses the word "No"  A LOT!

And what's extra fun about trick-or-treating at the library? The computer lab! Not even the thought of more candy would get this little bee out of the computer lab. Cole was such a good sport, just staring at his Sissy.

Oh, and then Eric realized that the library possibly rented XBox games, so we asked a librarian. His response, "Yes, in the Teen Section." HAHAHAHA. I didn't tell him that it was for my 30 year old Doctor husband.

Ok on a totally un-halloween note, Cole is EVERYWHERE at 7 months old. Not only is he crawling everywhere, he is starting to pull up on things. His teacher said that he crawls straight toward their rocking chair and pulls up on it. Yep, he'll be promoted anyday now. So sad about that. Tonight, he crawled up to me. Grabbed my knee and pulled up to his feet and was standing up!!! Stop, Cole! You are going to be walking by 9 months if you keep this up!
