Cole & Caro continue to do great at school! Cole has amazing teachers that love him to pieces. They said that there are teachers from around the building that pop in throughout the day just to get some smiles from Cole b/c all he does his chuckle and smile. Melts my heart. He is eating lots of baby food. Remember last weekend when I bragged about his sleeping? Let me take that back. I jinxed it. This week he has started waking up several times a night either because he wants his pacifier or because he rolled over to his back and he DESPISES sleeping on his back. So, mommy and daddy have been zombies at work all week. While attempting letting him cry-it-out last night he got really worked up and threw up his dinner in bed. Whoops. I felt terrible & the little guy had a bath first thing this morning. He really enjoys tummy time and laying on the floor with toys!
Caroline has a new boyfriend named John Robert. I caught her holding his hand on the playground at school. Her teacher said at circle time on the carpet they must sit by each other and she sits there and pats his back. Eric's not sure how he feels about this, but I think it's hysterical. If you ask, "who is your boyfriend, Caroline?" She smiles and replies, "John Robert". HAHA.
Caroline continues to blow us away by her knowledge. She is just soaking up so much. She can sing her ABC's all the way through, sings Old Mcdonald & even Sweet Caroline. She is really starting to enjoy playing with Cole and is even starting to call him "Cole" vs. "Bubba". She can pretty much repeat anything you say (so watch what you say around her!) and is counting and "reading" books. She is drinking out of a cup without a lid! She is doing great on the potty. School wanted her to start wearing panties last week, so we did. But, she had accidents at home with me. She doesnt have any accidents at school, but gets very busy at home and has accidents, so we'll continue diaper/pull-up a little while longer. She'll sit on the potty at home as it gets close to bedtime to put-off going to bed. She's smart! She is eating such a variety of food at daycare it blows my mind. She'll eat fish sticks, burgers, pizza, alfredo(!!!!), tacos, and other things that she wouldn't touch at home. She will eat pasta & hot dogs at home for dinner. She'll eat pretty much any fruit or veggie, though; so that's good.
Caroline climbed up in her shopping cart (apparently it's called a "buggy" down here!) and said "RIDE! RIDE!"
It's only 8am. He clearly didn't sleep too well last night.
Happy now!! Sitting in Sissy's chair and just smiling at Mommy. Love.
just precious
