Branson, MO

Growing up, we always went to Branson, MO for a getaway. It's about 4.5 hours Southwest of Edwardsville. My favorite time to go was always Christmas. There's a theme park there called Silver Dollar City and it's an old-time theme (including all 70+ age employees). There are lots of shops, restaurants, shows, rides, craft stands, an entire kid zone, and very few bathrooms.

We left the day after Thanksgiving along with my mom and dad (Gigi and Papa) and my sister Kaci and her two kids, Avery & Will.

Cole was barely tall enough to ride the rides, so we had a lot of fun. We were shocked how much fun the kids had riding on trains, roller coasters, swings, pirate ships, teacups, etc. At night, they turn on all the Christmas lights all over the park. It was beautiful.

Friday night was much colder than Saturday night, but overall we had very pleasant weather.

Bundled up for a light and water show.

Caroline will NOT sit on the real Santa's lap, so she gladly sat on this creepy fake one.

Worked hard for a Christmas card pic!

We rode the tea cups!

Of course I made coordinating shirts for the kids to wear!

I LOVE SILVER DOLLAR CITY!!!!!!!!! That is awesome. We used to go there every year growing up- I guess it is close-ish to Memphis? Your kids and niece and nephew are adorable. Love the shirts!
