St. Louis Arch

We are only 20 minutes from downtown St. Louis, so it's fun to take advantage of the fun things to do there! Last Saturday we woke up and decided to go to the Arch. If you've ever been to the Arch, you know that there's not a whole lot to do there. You go down into the basement and buy your tickets, take a "train" to the top and then there's a viewing area. Then you go back down and leave. Not crazy awesome, but it's a National Monument, so it's fun to do. The kids LOVED it! Their immense amount of impatience waiting in line led us to the idea that we better just do a Disney cruise soon and NOT Disney World. Not sure they'd  handle the lines at this age.

See that round building behind them? That's where Eric took me to dinner the night we got engaged. It has a revolving restaurant on the top floor!

Looks so fun! We've been waiting to go as they told me when I called that they don't let kids under 4 go up to the top, but looks like we'll make it a trip now!

Now wait a minute! That was my class field trip for 14 years! You obviously did not take advantage of running through the Jefferson National Expansion Museum with 25 students and and 7 parents! It was more than a basement! Lol!
