Last week she did a 5 day Swim Lesson at the YMCA. She LOVED it. She slept every afternoon for 2 hours. It wore her out! While it was fun for her, she didn't make a ton of progress throughout the week (probably expected), so she will continue on in the same class. She loves the water, but is a little timid without a flotation device.
Both kids are in gymnastics classes at the YMCA. Cole's is more of a play-time with friends where they just run around and play on all the fun equipment. Caroline's is a structured class for four year olds. She LOVES it.
This week, Caro started Bible School where 2 year olds could also go, but I couldn't bring myself to leave Cole. He repeatedly told me that he doesn't like bible school and he was not going. September 2nd will be a big wakeup call for him when he starts preschool!!
Last weekend the kids went to the lake house with Eric's parents for 3 full days! They had an absolute blast! We stayed home and got a lot of things done, including chopping down a ginormous tree branch in our yard. One fell during a storm and barely missed the playset. We bought a chainsaw and chopped it up. I made it sound easy, but it was hours upon hours of work. Not fun.
The rest of the month is filled with bible school, YMCA camps, and a trip to the lake house.
