Santa & The Elf

Caroline has an Elf that came straight from The North Pole (Target). She doesn't entirely understand what it's all about, but thankfully CBS has aired a movie about the Elf on the Shelf and she is FASCINATED by it. Yes, that word deserved capital letters. She will watch a movie a million times over, but she has never really sat and stared at the TV. Until now. This Elf movie is really cute. If you haven't seen it, check your DVR to see when it's on again.
Like I said, she doesn't quite understand that her Elf visits Santa every night, but she now LOVES Santa Claus and sings songs about him and points him out on every single commercial, in books, etc. etc. Tonight she keeps saying, "Santa coming to my house." "Santa bring me dinosaur.". Santa is so kind because he agreed to stop by our house tomorrow night since we'll be in Illinois for Christmas. So when Caroline and Cole wake up Sunday morning we'll celebrate Christmas!! I. Can't. Wait. This will be the first Christmas where she'll truly be excited. We've been talking a lot this week about Christmas being Jesus' birthday. Hopefully by next year she'll understand the meaning behind it all.
Every morning her Elf (Named Barney) has landed in a different spot from the North Pole. Here are a few of his locations that Caroline has found quite humorous:

Barney made Mommy's coffee this morning. So nice.

Barney was riding on the ceiling fan.

Ok, so the pictures are weak. Other places include in the tree, in the fridge, in high-chair, riding in the cozy-coupe, in Caroline's stocking, reading a Skippy Jon Jones book, and in the Bumbo eating Cheerios.
